OHIO STATE IS GOING TO THE ROSE BOWL!!
It’s been a crazy few days and I’ve been a little busy, but I’d just like to say that today’s game was exactly what we needed after last week’s steamrolling. The game wasn’t perfect by far and we could have done a lot better, but things are looking up again.
A spectacular game in the Horseshoe in Columbus today. I’m not going to bore you with a play-by-play analysis or anything, but it was an excellent game to be sure. The weather was fantastic, the stadium was packed, and I’m pretty sure I won’t have a voice tomorrow because I shouted myself hoarse. The Buckeyes had an 18 point victory over the undefeated Wisconsin Badgers, putting us one step closer to the National Championship
There is nothing quite like being a Buckeye at an Ohio State football game. When you get into that stadium and see over 100 thousand people wearing scarlet and gray, rooting on your team, it’s quite an experience. People love to bad mouth and make fun of Ohio State; they call us arrogant and conceited, which is true, I’ll admit. Some even go as far as calling us *ahem* overrated. But when you go to the university that offers such great academic programs, a multitude of great sports teams, an outstanding football team with a coach to match, The Best Damn Band in the Land, and of course, President Gordan Gee himself, it’s a little hard not to let the pride get to your head. I’m proud to be a Buckeye, and nothing anyone can say will ever change that.

(An added bonus; I was on TV! Apparently the TV camera caught myself and my roommate for a few seconds according to my mom, who was watching the game from home.)
